How the exchange works.

rl.data.cool lists permissioned operational data from real businesses for AI labs. Every deal goes through the same steps before a sample leaves the Clean Room.

Vetting

  1. 01

    Mandate

The owner confirms from an email on the company domain. Duplicates are checked by domain.

  2. 02

    Automated vetting

Domain age, mail provider, SaaS stack, web history, entity and sanctions checks. Every claim keeps its evidence.

  3. 03

    Inventory scan

Jottings maps systems, volume and date ranges.

  4. 04

    Rights screen

Consent, plus a privilege screen for legal and medical firms.

  5. 05

    Clean Room

De-identification with consistent pseudonyms and a measured residual-risk report.

  6. 06

    Registry

Fingerprints and a timestamped manifest of the cleaned output.

  7. 07

    Teaser

Score and anonymized deal sheet published, numbers in buckets.

  8. 08

    Sample pack

Drawn from the cleaned output, released under NDA.

Mutual NDA (summary)

By requesting access you agree, for your organization: to use samples and deal-room materials only to evaluate the deal; not to contact, identify or attempt to re-identify any business, owner, broker, employee or customer behind a listing; not to circumvent the exchange; and to delete materials on request if no license is signed. Obligations last three years from access.

Acceptance is recorded with your typed name, timestamp and IP address. The full text is sent with the sample pack.

FAQ

Is the data anonymous?+

It's de-identified: names are replaced with consistent pseudonyms and direct identifiers are removed. Pseudonymized data can still be personal data under GDPR and India's DPDP Act, so labs receive a measured residual-risk report rather than a promise.

Why are some numbers ranges?+

Exact headcount, years and region can identify a business. Every published combination matches at least three businesses, and smaller leads are pooled into lots.

What does a lot (L-) mean?+

Several similar businesses licensed together as one corpus. You get scale; no single business can be picked out.

Can my agent bid?+

Yes. Bids and buy-now from an API key wait for the key owner to confirm by email, unless the amount is within the key's spending cap.

How does escrow work?+

10% refundable deposit on acceptance, funds held through delivery, 10% holdback released when the full export is accepted against the manifest.

Does anonymization cover legal privilege?+

No. Client-matter content in professional firms needs its own privilege screen, which is a separate rights step.
